Frequently asked
questions.
Everything you need to know about how Tenga works, what it costs, and how to get started.
Can I use Tenga when the internet is down?
Yes. Tenga is designed to keep core selling workflows moving offline and sync changes when your connection returns.
Does one subscription cover my staff?
Yes. Each plan includes a set number of staff accounts, devices and branches for one organization.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can start on the plan that fits today and upgrade as you add people, devices or branches.
Is Tenga only for large retailers?
No. Starter is built for an owner-run shop, while Growth and Business add controls for larger teams and multi-branch operations.
Is there a Tenga mobile app?
Yes. Tenga is available on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android. You can also use Tenga in any browser on desktop.
Do I need a card to start a trial?
No. You can start a free trial and explore Tenga without entering payment details.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data stays in your account for a grace period after cancellation, giving you time to export records or resubscribe before anything is removed.
Can I use Tenga across multiple branches?
Yes. Growth and above let you manage several branches from one account, with per-branch inventory and consolidated reporting on Business and up.
What payment methods does Tenga support for sales?
Tenga records cash, mobile money and card sales so every transaction — however your customer pays — shows up in the same reports.
Who is Tenga built for?
Tenga is built for retail and service businesses across Africa — from a single owner-run shop to multi-branch retailers who need staff roles, permissions and consolidated reporting.
